Terri Peaks

Pastor/First Lady Terri Peaks is a woman who loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind and strength.  She serves alongside her husband in a pastoral capacity, in administration and women’s ministries.  She cherishes her family and is happily married to Dr. Von Peaks, Sr. Pastor, for 26 years.  They are blessed to have a 19-year-old daughter, Ariel, who loves to minister in song.

Professionally, Terri Peaks is the Manager of Victim Services with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) North Texas Region. She has spent several years as a business owner and consultant with Fox Valley for the U.S. Department of Justice on the AMBER Alert program as well as other missing children’s initiatives.  She is an adjunct instructor with Tarrant County College Corporate Services.  She served with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office for nearly 18 years, leaving in May, 2005. In 1995, she was named Director of the Ohio Missing Children Clearinghouse located within the Crime Victims Services Section in the Attorney General’s Office.

 

As director for 10 years, she was responsible for overseeing its operations as the central repository to coordinate and improve availability of information on missing and exploited children.  She has received numerous awards in her field and various honors, and serves on several boards.
